A fase do rock que eu pessoalmente mais gosto é a dos ANOS 70 e 80, a era da amplificação do som, o peso da bateria, a pulsação do baixo, os riffs melodiosos da guitarra, a virtuose dos solos. Nesta época, coincidentemente, eu deixava a adolescência e entrava na juventude.
Os anos 60 foram sinônimo de Beatles. Já os anos 70 a história foi diferente, três bandas influenciaram o som de uma geração: Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin e Black Sabbath. Porém, teve um cara que forneceu todas bases para a amplificação, distorção e virtuose do som dos anos 70; uma figura chamada Jimi Hendrix, um gênio da guitarra que era canhoto e tocava sem trocar a posição das cordas.
Lembram daquela criança que nasceu do blues e da country music? Pois é, eu considero os anos 70 a maioridade do rock, uma era evolutiva, onde se experimentou de tudo, até mesmo inserir flauta no rock, e tudo dava certo. Mas na minha opinião DEEP PURPLE foi a melhor banda dos anos 70.
